Listing Data: Images, descriptions, and health records of the animals you post.
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data for:
Verification: To ensure that sellers are genuine and not involved in illegal animal trafficking.
Facilitation: To allow buyers to contact sellers regarding agricultural and poultry needs.
Safety: To monitor and prevent fraudulent activities or “token money” scams.
Compliance: To comply with the Wildlife Protection Act and other local agricultural regulations.
Data Sharing & Disclosure (Strict Policy)
We do not sell your personal data to third-party advertisers. However, we may share information in the following cases:
Public Listings: Your name, location, and phone number (if enabled) will be visible to potential buyers/sellers.
Law Enforcement: We will share all available data (including ID proofs) with the Police, Forest Department, or Cyber Cell without prior notice if we suspect illegal wildlife trade or financial fraud.
Service Providers: With technical partners who help us in OTP verification or cloud storage.
Financial Data Protection
Animal Bazaar does not store credit card, debit card, or UPI PIN details.
Since all payments are handled directly between the buyer and seller outside the app, we are not responsible for the security of those transactions.
Data Retention & Deletion
We keep your data as long as your account is active.
If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed from our active database, but we may retain certain records (like ID proofs of banned users) for legal and audit purposes.
User Rights
You have the right to access, update, or correct your profile information.
You can choose to disable location services through your device settings, though this may limit your ability to find local listings.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Your continued use of the App after changes are made signifies your acceptance of the updated terms.
